We know pets are family, too, and well-behaved dogs are welcome at Moosehorn Resort with permission. To help make sure all guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay, we ask that pet owners follow the guidelines below.

Pet Guidelines

• Maximum of 2 dogs per cabin

• Dogs must remain on a leash outdoors at all times

• Shock collars are not considered a leash

• Dogs are not allowed in the office or private resort owner areas

• Cats and other pets are not permitted

 

While Staying at the Resort

• Pets may not be left free-roaming in cabins or tied outside unattended

• Dogs must either remain with you or be safely crated when unattended

• If a dog becomes disruptive to other guests, owners may be asked to remove the pet from the property

• Please clean up after your pet both inside and outside of the cabin

 

Cabin Expectations

• Dogs are not allowed on furniture, beds, blankets, or in rental boats

• Please bring your dog’s bed and blankets from home

• Sandy or muddy paws should be cleaned before entering the cabin

• Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their pet

 

Pet Fees

• $40 nightly per pet

• $225 weekly per pet

 

Please bring any food, bedding, leashes, waste bags, medications, and health documentation your pet may need during your stay.
